Demonstrations

ermmm...so ya... i am finally back from one of the World Heritage Cities, Melacca, M'sia.. allow me to briefly describe what happened.. over the weekends.. me and the rest of the SIL-ART team had some demonstrations over there.. three demos in a day in total.. the first one was a total flop yet it was still funny.. imagine you are in the arena.. waiting eagerly to perform.. when suddenly.. the wrong track was played.. we had to skip the new routine.. and continued with the old one.. it was all thanks to me.. for burning the wrong track to the CD.. thousand apologies mates.. soon after the morning flop... we returned back to the hotel... luckily coach was not angry... we even joked together about the reactions on everyone's face when the track was played.. while everyone went to rest and did their stuffs.. i was busy re-writing the CD with the right track.. this time around.. i made sure that everyone was there to witness me burning the right track.. when the track was finally ready.. we began to prepare for our evening demo and headed for the performing ground again... hmm... the evening demo was great... certainly better than the morning one.. but still... we weren't up to standards... the sun was not on our side... scorching malayan heat i should say... last but not least... it was time for the final show of the trip... with much rest and motivational videos from Silat.tv... we psyched ourselves up.. wanting to prove our individual best... not to the crowd... but to ourselves.. at the backstage of the Grand Ballroom in the trade center.. we warmed ourselves up with the new routine over and over again... not forgetting with regular jokes in between... and soon... we were back on stage.. performing.. one by one steps of the new routine accompanied with the right track was completed.. everyone was so enjoying their time on stage that they began to step things up... once the routine was completed.. we went ahead and took a bow... that was when we received great cheers and applause from the audience... even though... overall the last demonstration was the best.. we still manage to pin point some minor errors in our routine which are very important... next day... was touring time... went around the city... in and out of shops.. and indulge ourselves with the local delights.. after all of that was done.. we packed and made our way back to S'pore... that was all for the trip.. next up.. 9 Aug.. another demonstration.. this time at the museum.. do make yourself free and come down with your loved ones to support us... with much love.. newagedazri...
